The book is dedicated to the creation of the Church of the Savior of the Image Not Made by Hands (Rublevo-Uspenskoe Highway, 101, Usovo, Moscow Region). It inherits the ancient temple of the Ilyinskoye and Usovo estates, during the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries. belonged to the royal family – Alexander II and Empress Maria Alexandrovna, Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich and Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna.

The cases and events related to the return of historical memory and the growing veneration of the holy martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna in society are revealed. The central place is given to the revival of the Elizabethan procession, which takes place within the lands of the famous estates. A plan diagram is provided indicating the surviving monuments in the buildings of Ilyinsky and Usov along the route of the religious procession.
