The modern urban fortune hunter, daring and erotic – the heroine of the Tarot Manara, fights not so much for love as for the opportunity to exist safely in personal and business relationships. Manara used in his comics images similar to his contemporaries, famous representatives of bohemians, and collective images of historical and pseudo-historical characters. Pietro Alligo, under whose leadership the deck was created, followed the basic principles of the Tarot and the oracles, and very subtly and deeply selected drawings that illustrate the meaning of the Arcana.
.The authors of the book tried to demonstrate all the richness of the possibilities of this metaphorical instrument and show the meanings that can be hidden behind the image, like music behind the notes.
