Утопия

Публикация представляет собой новый перевод с латинского оригинала всемирно известной “Утопии” Томаса Мора. В книгу включены своеобразные вступления к первым изданиям “Утопии” – письма гуманистов, друзей Мора. Ранее они на русский язык не переводились. В приложениях впервые на русском языке публикуются избранные письма Мора и Эразма, отражающие издательскую историю “Утопии”. Материалы публикации сопровождаются вступительной статьей и научным комментарием. Книга подготовлена в 500-летию со дня рождения Томаса Мора.

Utopia

The publication is a new translation from the original Latin of the world famous “Utopia” by Thomas More. The book includes original introductions to the first editions of Utopia – letters from humanists and friends of More. Previously they had not been translated into Russian. In the appendices, for the first time in Russian, selected letters from More and Erasmus are published, reflecting the publishing history of Utopia. The publication materials are accompanied by an introductory article and scientific commentary. The book was prepared on the 500th anniversary of the birth of Thomas More.
