The guide presents current data on the etiology, epidemiology and pathogenesis of current childhood infections – measles and EBV mononucleosis. The clinical picture in children, features of the course in modern conditions, as well as the clinical and epidemiological evolution of these infections are described in detail. From a modern perspective, the basic principles of complex treatment and prevention of these diseases are highlighted. Differential diagnostic criteria for modern infectious diseases occurring with exanthema syndrome (measles, parvovirus infection B19; infection caused by HHV type 6; Zika fever, etc.) are presented in the form of a separate table, as well as in a special Appendix in photographs.
