Shadows of the Kasimov Khanate A photo trip to the east of the Ryazan region is dedicated to the world of the Tatars, historically associated with the Kasimov Khanate. Everyday life, ritual practices, relationships with neighbors, a special chronotope, surviving monuments of spiritual and material culture appear through the nature of the region – springs, rivers, forests. Modern photographs and texts enter into dialogue with saved family photographs.
