The book of Archbishop Averky (Tushev) “Open the Doors of Repentance” includes selected teachings for Lent and on repentance, included in the collection of his words and speeches, published for the 25th anniversary of the bishop’s service in America at the Holy Trinity Monastery.

Archbishop Averky (Taushev) is a famous thinker and theologian of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad. His works on the study of the Holy Scriptures of the New Testament, “The Four Gospels” and “The Apostle,” have been reprinted many times and are widely known among Orthodox readers.
