The first volume of the Works of the revolutionary and writer S.M. Stepnyak-Kravchinsky includes two of his most notable works – “Russia under the Rule of the Tsars” and “Underground Russia”. These works trace the history of the Russian liberation movement, the origins of the worldview of the Narodnaya Volya revolutionaries, as well as the individual fates of the revolutionaries of the 70s and 80s of the 19th century. The second volume includes his works of art: the novel “Andrei Kozhukhov”, the story “House on the Volga”, biographies of revolutionaries S. Bardina, O. Lyubatovich, D. Garbaldi.
