The book is based on many years of experience in monitoring and treating children with extrahepatic portal hypertension with a complicated course and concomitant diseases. Clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, conservative treatment, indications for operations, surgical techniques, management of the postoperative period and rehabilitation are considered. Data from domestic and foreign literature, tested in clinical practice, were used. A wide range of pathogenetically substantiated simultaneous, sometimes staged surgical interventions is presented, with the designation of the most dangerous anatomical and topographic formations that complicate the performance of operations and instructions for the prevention of possible technical errors.
