1931, Mars, New Galveston. When Silence fell on the planet, destroying all communications between the Earth and the Martian colony, it froze, paralyzed by fear. Annabelle Crisp was working at her father’s diner when Silas Mundt’s gang attacked the town. The Crisps were robbed, but most importantly, the recording with the voice of their mother, who remained on Earth, was taken from them. Out of desperation and rage, Anabel sets off on a journey to catch up with the thieves and take away the only item dear to her heart. Accompanied by a loyal robot, a perpetually drunk rogue space pilot, and a heavily armed mercenary, Anabelle, you must navigate an abandoned mining town where the locals have mutated due to exposure to a mineral called Oddity. Travelers will also find the desert and the dark Peabody Crater, where wild cars roam. Travelers will soon discover that Mars holds many secrets, and New Galveston, once a safe haven, has now become a smoldering candle in a world that is devoured by darkness.
