The book “Words on the days of remembrance of especially revered saints. Book Eight” is a collection of 44 liturgical sermons by Metropolitan Vladimir of Omsk and Tauride, dedicated to the memory of both individual saints of the Ecumenical Church and the Russian Church, as well as their Councils and individual events associated with them (the day of death, the discovery of relics, glorification, etc. .), covering the months of January and February. In these sermons, hagiographic materials are combined with modern spiritual and moral issues, historical assessments and spiritual lessons, refracted through the author’s personal long-term experience of archpastoral service. The book is intended for the widest Orthodox reader.
