The proposed textbook “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” belongs to a new generation of educational literature. The contents of the book reflect the latest changes associated with the emergence of new drugs and the introduction into practice of modern methods of pharmaceutical analysis and quality control of drugs.

The book presents in detail and comprehensively the classification of drugs, the relationship between their structure, chemical properties and pharmacological action. The fundamentals of molecular docking and drug development strategies are reviewed, including issues of computer-aided design, stability, and pharmaceutical incompatibility. New sections are presented: biological drugs (insulin, vaccines, serums, monoclonal antibodies, etc.) and medicinal chemistry, dedicated to opioid analgesics.

Sechenov (Sechenov University), taking into account all the provisions of the current Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Professional Education – specialty in specialty 05/33/01 “Pharmacy”.

Предлагаемый учебник «Фармацевтическая химия» относится к новому поколению учебной литературы.
