Prayer is of great importance in the life of a Christian. It brings a person into communication with God, strengthens his spirit, makes the impossible possible, the difficult – easy. A Christian, like a powerful weapon, defends himself with prayer from the slander of evil people and the attacks of demons. This brochure was compiled by G.I. Shimansky (1915-1970) according to the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, the holy fathers and ascetics of the Orthodox Church.
