The pioneer of the world nuclear fleet, the icebreaker “Lenin” was built in the late 50s of the last century. It was supposed to extend the navigation time along the Northern Sea Route, ensuring uninterrupted navigation of ships. It was not enough to build – it was necessary to competently operate this unique machine, solving technical problems and correcting design flaws along the way. Hundreds of people of various specialties worked in its depths, and many of them needed technical documentation, which was issued by the girl archivist. Her memories of working on the icebreaker and meeting the famous captain B. M. Sokolov decades later took shape in this book.
