Pavel Fedorovich Belikov stood at the origins of studying the life and work of the Roerich family, collecting his archive from the mid-1930s. His book “Roerich”, published in 1972 in the “ZhZL” series, is the first most complete study of the life and work of the great Russian artist, scientist and philosopher. P. F. Belikov also wrote numerous essays and articles dedicated to the Roerichs, as well as the first bibliography of N. K. Roerich’s literary works. The first volume of this collection presents the memoirs of contemporaries, letters from N.K., Yu.N. and S.N. Roerichs, addressed to P.F. Belikov, as well as his own selected works.
