“On the threshold of fate” is a novel by Larisa Isarova, consisting of two parts: “Ten seconds to answer” and “And your voice in my soul…”. Plot: the story is told from the perspective of a teacher, who, by the will of fate, found herself witnessing crimes committed by her students. The paths that the heroes chose in life, the problems of education alternate with the historical events of Russia in the second half of the 18th century.
