Love for Russia begins with knowledge of its history and its heroes. The path of Russian historical life was accompanied not only by mastering the experience of countering the aggressive outside world, but also by the formation of a powerful internal spiritual world of the Russian people. This contributed to the formation of an original and rich, highly sophisticated Russian culture. In the achievements of the multifaceted Russian civilization, the emphasis is on the period of the last millennium, that is, the Christian era, because in Russian life Orthodoxy and the Russian people are the fundamental basis of civilization. Therefore, the fate of Russian culture and the state is inseparable from the place of Orthodoxy in our lives. The presented work shows the stages of approval of the Russian idea on the historical path of the Russian state, and outlines national priorities in the revival of the great Russian world.
