The collection of articles was prepared on the basis of reports from two Christian conferences held in Almaty on the basis of the Almaty Biblical Institute in 2014 and 2015, under the general title “Missio Dei (Mission of God) and Missio Ecclesiae (Mission of the Church) in the post-Soviet space.” Despite the fact that the topics of the presented works are quite diverse, they are united by one issue – mission. The authors reflect on the importance of purpose, which comes from God, is revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and should be manifested in church activities today, particularly in the Central Asian region.

The publication will be useful not only to pastors, leaders of social and youth ministries, but also to anyone interested in deepening the understanding of our mission, its development and dissemination throughout human history and in the modern context.
