Meta-Dude. Confession

“Meta-Dude” is a stylish alternative superhero. The second volume of the series, subtitled “Confession,” is a great stand-alone read, but also continues the plot of the first issue.

Meta-Dude is defeated at the hands of his nemesis. The main character, Donnie, was overcome by madness and locked in a mental hospital, able only to tell the stories of his past adventures over and over again, while Money Man plunged Meta City into corrupt chaos. There is no hope for the return of the greatest defender.

Will the hero remain captive of his illusions or will he be able to overcome this line between realities? Is he ready to face the consequences of his decisions and become the hero he once was in the eyes of the inhabitants of a new, better reality?

The bright style of Yegor Kosykh (Slurm Comics), known for his popular art about bloggers (Yulik, Anton Vlasov, Khovansky, Kuzma and others) makes this comic an excellent choice for fans of Russian illustrated stories.

«Мета-Чувак» – стильная альтернативная супергероика. Второй том серии с подзаголовком «Исповедь» прекрасно читается отдельно, но также продолжает сюжет первого выпуска.

Мета-Чувак побеждён руками своего заклятого врага. Главный герой, Донни, был охвачен безумием и заперт в психушке, способный лишь вновь и вновь рассказывать истории своих былых приключений, пока МаниМен погружает Мета-Сити в коррупционный хаос. Надежды на возвращение величайшего защитника нет.

Останется ли герой в плену своих иллюзий или сможет преодолеть эту грань между реальностями? Готов ли он встретиться лицом к лицу с последствиями своих решений и стать тем героем, которым он когда-то был в глазах жителей новой, лучшей реальности?

Яркий стиль Егора Косых (Slurm Comics), известного популярными артам про блогеров (Юлик, Антон Власов, Хованский, Кузьма и других) делает этот комикс отличным выбором для фанатов отечественных иллюстрированных историй.
