The collection contains eight akathists that should help the reader in prayerfully caring for their health and the health of loved ones.

The first two akathists are dedicated to the Savior and the Mother of God (in front of Her icon “The All-Tsarina” they pray for healing from cancer), the other six are dedicated to saints – St. Nectarius (they also turn to him with a request to get rid of cancer), martyr. Panteleimon St. bessrr. Cosmas and Damian of Asia, right. John of Kronstadt, St. Anastasia the Pattern Maker. During their lifetime, these saints helped those suffering from illnesses; they are known for their miraculous help to the sick to this day.
