В справочнике представлены современные сведения по эпидемиологии, этиологии и особенностям клинических проявлений основных инфекционных заболеваний у детей разного возраста. Lobzin Y.: Handbook of infectious diseases in children

The directory presents modern information on the epidemiology, etiology and characteristics of clinical manifestations of major infectious diseases in children of different ages. New data on the pathogenesis of diseases are presented. Modern approaches to laboratory diagnostics are described, taking into account the period of development of the infectious process. Information is presented about the features of the prevention and treatment of diseases in children, and the activities carried out in the outbreak. Of particular importance are the presented technologies for predicting the course and outcome of the disease, as well as the Appendices, which contain information on vaccine prevention necessary for the practical work of a doctor.
.The staff of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Research Institute of Children’s Infections of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia” and the staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases in Children of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University took part in the preparation of the reference book.
