“Legends and Myths of Ancient Greece” is a popular science book by Nikolai Kun with a brief summary of ancient myths. The book consists of two parts: The first tells about the origin of the world, individual gods and heroes. It is based on Hesiod’s poems “Theogony” and “Works and Days”, as well as Ovid’s poem “Metamorphoses”. The second is dedicated to the ancient Greek epic, based on Homer’s poems “Iliad” and “Odyssey”.
