“Teleman” is a science fiction story by Ferenc Kassai, published in 1965 by the Mir Publishing House. The action takes place in the late 60s in the fictional country of Miklan. The main character, a talented scientist Birmingham, invented a device in which he used the latest advances in the field of electronics and biophysics. Using this installation, he manages to obtain a three-dimensional image. It so happened that the image of the professor himself begins an independent life. A number of exciting adventures occur with the “double”, a personal conflict arises between him and the professor, and the problem of scientists’ responsibility for their inventions is revealed.
