Today a problematic situation has developed in science and philosophy. Science, which uses mainly empirical methods and chooses phenomena of the visible, physical world as the subject of study, is limited in its ability to study the manifestations of matter of a more subtle state and higher dimension. At the same time, scientists are beginning to feel the need to expand scientific methodology, which in an updated version would allow them to study the phenomena of other existence. Modern philosophy, the provisions of which could be used to update scientific methodology, does not have such potential, because it is mainly focused on a sociological worldview. According to the Authors of the book, the possibilities of updating science are inherent in the philosophy of Living Ethics. This philosophical system is increasingly becoming the subject of scientific understanding, and its methodological potential, accumulated in new cosmic thinking, is beginning to be used by scientists in scientific research. The second issue of the collection includes reports by scientists from the International Center of the Roerichs, regions of Russia and some other countries working in the group on Living Ethics under the Academic Council of the ICR.
