Dear reader, you have a rather unusual book in your hands. In my opinion, John Michael Greer’s The Celtic Golden Dawn is a gem of modern occult thought. It represents a unique tradition combining the developments of the Golden Dawn and the Celtic heritage, and it is also a convenient guide to the creation of any magical system. Even if you are not interested in Druidry, you can use the author’s work and implement it into your tradition. I didn’t just translate this book—I studied and put a lot of things into practice. Therefore, some of the material has been adapted for the Russian-speaking reader.

John Michael Greer, a prominent authority and a person with uniquely extensive experience. This allowed him to rework and combine the most varied parts of occult knowledge into a coherent and consistent system. A particular highlight is the system of ceremonial work, which is excellent for creative modifications and personal additions. Therefore, this book not only summarizes the experience of the past, but can also become the key to structuring your work.

Appendices and additions are also available in this edition to help you better understand what you read. Some parts of the book may seem confusing and difficult to follow. To make it easier to master the practices and open the book to a wider audience, appropriate work has been done.

The first time, I recommend reading the book in its entirety, including the appendices, and only then starting the practice.
