“Humpbacked Bear” is a novel by Evgeny Andreevich Permyak, published in 1968. The plot recreates a figurative picture of the pre-revolutionary and revolutionary years in the Urals. The author tells how the Bolshevik underground fought the autocracy, reveals the contradictions and difficulties associated with the peculiarities of the way of life of the workers of the old Urals.
