The book includes two stories: “The Blockade” and “Characters and Performers.” “The Blockade” continues to acquaint the reader with the events that unfolded under besieged Leningrad, with the feat of its residents and soldiers of the active army, who did not allow the enemy into the city and withstood all the tests. “Characters and Performer” is a story by the famous Soviet writer Anatoly Aleksin, dedicated to teenagers. The author addresses the problem of human moral development, formulates the principles of high humanity and humanism.
