The book includes: “Chronicle of the Monastery. 1917-1927″ by an anonymous author, a 1919 report “On monasticism on Athos” by professor, archpriest Theodore Titov, correspondence of the Russian Panteleimon Monastery with the Holy Kinot and the Ecumenical Patriarchate, messages from the Russian monastery to the King of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes Alexander, as well as Patriarch of Serbia Demetrius, messages and appeals of the Russian Monastery to the Russian Abroad, as well as messages to the monastery of the Ecumenical Patriarchs Photius and Benjamin, correspondence with the Greek authorities and Russian diplomats. The volume concludes with the district message of the Holy Kinot to the 20 Athonite Monasteries dated April 11, 1941, and a letter to the Chancellor of Germany dated April 13/26. 1941 and “The State of Athos”, written by the secretary (grammarist) of the Monastery, monk Vasily (Krivoshein). In total, the volume included 27 documents. All of them are equipped with indexes, comments and reference apparatus.
