The most famous Tibetan treatise of the 18th century. “Arya Nagarjuna on the Paths and Stages of Guhyasamaja” together with a modern commentary presents a detailed description of the paths and stages of the “Guhyasamaja Tantra” in accordance with the tradition of Arya Nagarjuna. It is based on the unsurpassed authentic sayings of the incarnate Manjushri – Lama Tsongkhapa – and his disciples. In many Buddhist tantras and the works of realized teachers, Guhyasamaja is revered as the “Supreme Lord, the King of all tantras.” Acharya Chandrakirti in “The Shining Lamp” states: “Guhyasamaja is the highest method, the summation of the essence of all tantras.” Kedub Rinpoche in his Brief Notes writes: “if a initiate understands Guhyasamaja, he understands all tantras.” His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama also states that the Guhyasamaja Tantra anticipated the structure of other anuttaratantras and makes it easier to understand the tantras of this class.”
